My research interest includes using geophysical techniques to map variations in soil texture, particularly depth to argillic horizon, of historic farmlands.  Currently I’m using electromagnetic induction to predict the depth to argillic layer of soils in the Calhoun, Critical Zone Observatory. My objective is to relate these finding to past erosion rates and soil regeneration.
